FAQ
What sizes does Twitch require for emotes?
Twitch requires three sizes: 28×28px (small), 56×56px (medium), and 112×112px (large). All three must be uploaded together. This tool generates all three automatically from one image.
Does this work with animated GIF emotes?
Yes — the tool decodes every frame of your animated GIF using the omggif library, resizes each frame individually, and re-encodes a properly animated GIF at each size. Your animation stays smooth and intact.
What sizes does Discord use for emotes?
Discord displays emoji at 32px but accepts uploads up to 256×256px. This tool exports at 32px, 64px, and 128px. Animated GIFs are supported on Nitro servers.
Should my emote image be square?
Yes. Both Twitch and Discord require square emotes. This tool center-crops non-square images automatically. For best results, crop to square before uploading.
