FAQ

Does changing DPI affect image quality?

No. DPI is just metadata — a number stored in the file header that tells printers how large to print the image. Changing it does not touch any pixels. The image looks identical before and after.

Why does Printify / Redbubble say my image is too low quality?

Many POD platforms check DPI metadata and reject files below 150 or 300 DPI. Even if your image is large enough in pixels, a 72 DPI tag can trigger rejection. This tool fixes that instantly.

What DPI should I use for print-on-demand?

300 DPI is the industry standard for most POD platforms including Printify, Redbubble, and Merch by Amazon. Use 600 DPI only for very high-quality fine art prints.
